This is Your Training Ground

Maintaining the Unity of the Community / OrthoChristian.Com

I know why you’re here.

You’re spiritually and physically soft.

I’m not punching down on you and calling you out like I see countless performatively masculine “Catholic influencers” do to get you to join their brotherhood.

Nah. I’m calling you UP. I’m inviting you to PUNCH UP.

I’m not excusing you. The reality is the Church in its current form is bloated and rotten. Period. I know you see it, and I know you feel it.

When’s the last time you left Mass fired up with real actionable, catechetical, scriptural, canonical, and magisterial clarity, knowing exactly how to lead your home like a priest?

Never, because the homilies are limp and the clergy is soft. So you too have become soft.

It’s killing you, isn’t it? I know exactly what that feeling is. That’s why you’re here. And that’s the call to go to the desert. The source.

You need training. You need to burn off the bloat and rot. Get spiritually lean and consume the Eucharist as your fuel, use desert wisdom as your shield, and swing Marian devotion as your sword.

Blood. Sweat. Fire.

You’re not entering some 30-day challenge. This is lifelong. It is all day, every day. You need stamina you’ve never had before. Nobody cares what you did or what you will do.

The world doesn’t care. They hate fathers, and they hate Catholic fathers especially.

I don’t care.

Your wife doesn’t care.

Your sons don’t care.

What are you doing right now?

So stop scrolling. Stop lusting. Stop slothing around. Stop sitting there angry at the state of the Church and the state of your life.

You have no rule in your home, no discipline, no leadership, and no firm grasp on what is demanded of us as Catholic fathers.

Poor catechesis, disordered sexual views, minimal leadership skills, and spiritual fatherlessness come here to wither and die. Let the vultures pick those parts off your carcass. We start anew.

If You Don’t Act, Your House Will Rot:

Your parish will not save you, your wife is not the leader, your men’s group is not a shield, and all the self-congratulatory hyper-theological content creators in the world won’t put one ounce of spiritual and physical muscle on you.

Your house is a monastery under siege, and your gates are wide open. Who did that?

Take the hit. Stand up as the priest of your house and train for blood, not applause.

Build a house hell fears to touch.

The ball is in your court, brother. What will you do with it?

So here’s how this works. You don’t scroll. You don’t binge. You grind your way through these four manuals, which will point to the pain point, break your silence, and build your house.

Read them in order. Bleed if you must, burn what no longer serves Christ or your house, train, and lead.
